Publication Frequency

BJEAS publishes four issues per year. Issues appear in March, June, September, and December. Each issue contains a minimum of five and a maximum of twelve articles.

The journal applies continuous publication within each issue: an article is published online, with its final DOI, pagination, and citation details, as soon as it has completed copyediting and proofreading, and is added to the current issue. The issue is closed on the last day of its publication month. This ensures that authors are not made to wait for an issue to be filled before their work becomes citable.
