Open Access Policy

BORNEO Journal of Engineering and Applied Science is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely available on the journal website immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, embargo, or payment of any kind by readers or their institutions.

This policy follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition: users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, and use them for any other lawful purpose, provided the original work is properly attributed.

BJEAS is a diamond (platinum) open access journal. The costs of publication are borne by the Center for Research and Community Service, State Polytechnic of Samarinda. Neither authors nor readers are charged for the core publication process.

Open access is applied to the full text in PDF and, where available, HTML and XML formats. Metadata for all articles is made openly available under a Creative Commons CC0 waiver and is harvestable via the OAI-PMH interface at [https://.../index.php/bjeas/oai].
