Archiving and Digital Preservation

BJEAS is committed to the permanent availability of its published record. The journal uses the following preservation arrangements:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). The journal is enrolled in the PKP PN, a dark archive that preserves the full content of OJS journals across a distributed LOCKSS network and releases it if the journal ceases to operate.
  • LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. The LOCKSS and CLOCKSS manifests are enabled, permitting participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for restoration and preservation.
  • Institutional repository. A complete copy of every issue is deposited in the digital repository of the State Polytechnic of Samarinda.
  • Article metadata and DOIs are registered with Crossref, ensuring persistent identification and resolution.
  • Local and off-site backup. The full database and file directory are backed up daily to institutional servers and weekly to off-site storage.

Garuda / national repository. Article metadata is harvested by Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), the Indonesian national scholarly repository.
